Day 1 of the Festival

Yesterday was simply wonderful. A very insightful talk by Mr. Botkin and the world premier of the Leclerc brothers’ excellent documentary “Divided” ended a day filled with film viewings and fellowship.

TPFM’s first project, “Above All Stand,” was one of the short films that played earlier yesterday. We also were able to watch films that had good messages and interesting stories. We’re looking forward to today! Friday at Noon premiers on the big screen at 1:00. Glory to God!

Several of our crew and cast are currently in San Antonio, TX for the SAICFF and Christian Filmmakers Academy! It’s an exciting time for Friday At Noon! We are looking forward to learning a lot this week, especially during the academy which began today. Rob and Gabriel Hudelson will be posting from SAICFF to give some updates of their time in San Antonio. So keep your eye out for future posts!

Please be praying for FaN during the festival and also for protection for our cast and crew during their travels this week! Thank you all for your continued support. To God be all the glory!

SAICFF Finalists!!!

Hello everyone!!! We are soooooooo EXCITED to announce that Friday At Noon has been selected as a FINALIST at the 2010 San Antonio Independent Christian Film Festival!!!! This is quite an honor and we give all the glory and praise to our LORD and Saviour, Jesus Christ! It is by His grace alone that our first feature film (and our first film festival submission) would be considered as a semi-finalist in such a prestigious and God-honoring film festival.

Friday At Noon is eligible for the following:

Audience Choice Award
Jubilee Award for Best of Category
$101,000 grand prize Jubilee Award for Best of Festival
All semi-finalists will also have their film screened at the SAICFF

We are going up against other more experienced and larger-budgeted films, so please continue to pray for FaN during the Festival. SAICFF is scheduled for October 28-30 at San Antonio, TX. If you would like to attend or get more info about the festival, feel free to visit their website at www.saicff.org.

Thank you again for all your support and prayers as we continue along in the project! Please also pray as we continue designing the official movie website, getting the DVD available for purchase, and financial support to further the work of this project. That’s A Wrap! {week 18}

After 18 weeks of filming (on July 19), the FINAL film day finally arrived! Our last day was with Cody. We filmed some shots that were missed at the Lecture Hall from the previous shoot, as well as shots for the opening scenes of the film. Our last day took us back to the Lecture Hall in Phoenix and then to the Tempe Cemetery. What an amazing journey it has been for our first feature film project. We have learned so much and have met so many wonderful people. We are extremely grateful to the LORD for His provisions in meeting the needs of this project. We are also thankful for the strength and perseverance of everyone involved to continue with this project to completion, especially when things seemed to go against us. It’s only by His grace and for His glory that this film exists.

As of this writing, the film was completed and edited in time for submission into the San Antonio Christian Film Festival. We are finishing up typing some loose ends with the project and also moving forward into the marketing phase. The DVD will be available for purchase soon. We are working on the official Friday At Noon website, which will have a place for people to purchase copies of the DVD when it is available to the public. So stay tuned for more announcements and updates!
